Hannah Abbott
Hannah returns to FIREafter serving as an Arthur D. Hellman Fellow in First Amendment Litigation in the summer of 2023. Hannah鈥檚 lifelong passion for liberal democracy and civic participation inspired her to pursue a career defending civil liberties.
In 2016, Hannah earned her bachelor鈥檚 degree from Bennington College in Vermont, concentrating in photography and literature. She graduated magna cum laude from the University of California College of the Law, San Francisco (formerly UC Hastings) in May 2024.
A native of the San Francisco Bay Area, Hannah鈥檚 natural habitat is deep fog, but she鈥檚 enjoying the novelty of Philadelphia鈥檚 four distinct seasons. Her hobbies and interests include collecting vintage pencils, listening to The Mountain Goats, and making friends with local dogs.
