On April 1, 2025, University of Illinois Chicago Associate Director for Community Standards Khyla Breland notified student Marie Ching of a report filed against Ching for her Instagram posts criticizing another student鈥檚 lack of participation in a group project. At an April 7 meeting, Breland allegedly told Ching the posts may constitute harassment.
