Open Discourse Coalition is a non-partisan organization formed by concerned alumni dedicated to preserving traditional liberal values at Bucknell University. On campus, Open Discourse Coalition hosts lecture series and stand alone speakers who present competing viewpoints from nuanced intellectual perspectives.

Tired of Columbia University’s consistent failure to live up to its free speech promises, the Columbia Free Speech Alliance organized to hold the university accountable for its illiberal actions. Together they hope to reform both the problematic speech policies and culture at Columbia.

Davidsonians for Freedom of Thought & Discourse is a concerned group of alumni who argue that Davidson College should promote free inquiry and not ideological indoctrination. Friends for Free Speech & Intellectual Diversity at Duke is concerned about increasing levels of self-censorship, threats to free speech, and a general lack of viewpoint diversity across the nation’s college campuses. Friends for Duke exists to help Duke become a leader among its peers in addressing these challenges.

Furman University alumni organized to encourage the university to reform its policies that restrict student expression. They will continue to serve a watchdog role, praising the university when it protects expression and asking for improvement when it fails.

Concerned alumni founded the Harvard Alumni for Free Speech to protect Harvard against the free speech violations that would undermine their prestigious educational standards. Description: The Macalester Alumni of Moderation or Mac Mods have been active for almost 20 years. They are dedicated to reforming the hostile environment for free speech currently dominating Macalester College.

The MIT Free Speech Alliance began after the cancellation of a lecture by geophysicist Dorian Abbot exposed an institutional climate hostile to free expression. MFSA now protects and promotes viewpoint diversity, freedom of expression, and academic freedom at MIT.
