Consideration must be given to other residents, guests, and the larger Nicholls State community when decorating and posting items in residential facilities. Window displays in residential facilities are prohibited for aesthetic purposes. Items that interfere with the educational mission of the University are prohibited in hallways and outside of rooms. Prohibited materials include postings or materials that constitute harassment, that constitute a threat to an individual or group as defined by law, or that violate university policy or state, local, or federal law. Residential Living retains the right to require the removal of any materials deemed unacceptable under this policy鈥檚 parameters. Such determinations will be made according to content- and viewpoint-neutral guidelines.
